National University Academy offers parents an innovative approach – in which allows personalization of their child’s education based on the student’s interest, aptitude and optimal learning environment. Based in Vista, National University Academy is a public charter school system in California. National University Academy programs cater to students in kindergarten through the 12th grade. Families can choose from a variety of programs. Orange County, Riverside County, San Diego County
Available for students in grades Kindergarten through 8, Home School Staff work with parents to create an individualized learning program that the parent teaches at home. Parents are assisted every step of the way ensuring that each child is learning and advancing to their full potential. Families are connected to a large network of NUA Home School Families and gain valuable interaction through group events, enrichment centers and educational activities.
Dual Language Institute
The Dual Language Institute of NUA, fosters multicultural and multilingual education by providing academic instruction that facilitates competence in speaking, reading, and writing in both English and Spanish. The instructional time is balanced between English and Spanish.
The Sparrow Program is currently serving grades K-3 and adding 4th grade for the 2014-2015 school year. Sparrow places equal emphasis on a solid academic foundation, artistic expression, social development, and the developmental needs of the child.
Our integrated, thematic approach to learning emphasizes a child’s relationship to the natural world while promoting respect for the environment and humankind.

Available to students in grades 6-12. The program offers a personalized education that combines online learning with onsite instruction. Dedicated staff provides an educational pathway that is customized for the student’s interests, abilities, and values. State of the art curriculum prepares students for post high school Career and College pathways.
